Foundations

Located just South of 32^nd Street, on Indiana Avenue, Park Plaza has served the Joplin area since November 13, 1960. We exist to Glorify God by teaching the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. Our congregation is rooted in the heritage of the Restoration Movement. Park Plaza strives to emulate the church as it is outlined in the New Testament. We represent a variety of denominational backgrounds. Our congregation is led by elected member who serve as elders in our church. In following Biblical teaching, we practice baptism by immersion. As immersed believers, we share together in the Lord’s Supper each Lord’s Day. Park Plaza prefers traditional music during our times of praise and worship. As many Christians still do, we cherish traditional music and the hymns of our faith.
